Thru-Wall, a collaboration between Lakesmere and Hemsec Installations, two of the most respected names in the construction industry, offers a unique, modular, fast-track, lightweight, sustainable and cost-effective means of constructing the building envelope up to five times faster than traditional construction methods and is the first UK business to offer full, latent defect 20-year SIPS/external finish insurance cover. Load bearing and pre-insulated, Thru-Wall is up to five times faster to install than traditional construction methods, combining the engineering and environmental benefits of off-site manufacture with enhanced performance including superior thermal and structural properties. Fenestration, glazing and external finishes can be factory or site installed, ideal for commercial projects where quality and speed of construction are paramount.

Hemsec Installations also has the added benefit of it’s consulting engineering division, headed up by Saul Slater (SSCE). SSCE are an independant division created to undertake all aspects of structural engineering. Saul has a BEng in Structural Engineering from the University of Manchester, is a chartered structural engineer (MIStructE) and has an MSc in Construction Law from the University of Central Lancashire. SSCE specialise in structural design, specialist structures (inc.SIPS), expert structural advice, modular buildings and civil engineering.
